Patriot Gauge, an automotive supplier that located in Franklin in
2004, is expanding its operations in Simpson County.
"We started out in 5,000 square feet" said Ron Coomes, owner and
president of Patriot Gauge. "This year, thanks to the response to our
product by our customers, we have moved from leased space of 5,000
square feet to a 37,000 square foot building located at 3 Washington
Way just off of the 1008 Bypass. Our business has been so good that we
now have 40 people working at our new facility."
Patriot Gauge manufactures gaskets and high end aftermarket automotive
and motorcycle parts. Their chief customer is Holley Performance
"We attribute the success of our company to the close relationship we
have with Holley Performance Products," said Coomes. "We have worked
with Holley for over a decade and I can tell you that they are a real
joy to work with as a customer. They make us feel like we are part of
their corporate family."
Coomes thanked several members of the community for their support
during his company's transition.
"I want to recognize Gary Broady and Franklin Bank and Trust as well
as the Franklin Simpson Industrial Authority for helping us grow our
business," he said. "Without both of these partnerships, our success
in Franklin would not have been possible."
Simpson County Judge/Executive Jim Henderson expressed his delight at
the expansion of Patriot Gauge.
