The company was established in 2006 and occupies a 27,000 square foot building in the northern part of Franklin. Mike Jones and Kenny Whitworth are the owners of Worldwide Technologies. The manufacturing facility is a machine shop and provides production machining for industries throughout Kentucky and Tennessee.

“We are very pleased to continue growing in Franklin,” Jones, president of Worldwide Technologies said. “Our new expansion will allow us to increase our production for our customer base. We have been very pleased with the workforce we have been able to find in the area. The Franklin community has been good to us and we are glad that we will be able to create some additional jobs for the community.”

Gary Broady, chairman of the Franklin Simpson Industrial Authority expressed his delight in the announcement of the expansion.
